Osaka 2024-2026
I’ve been able to visit Osaka several times since moving back to Japan in 2022. It’s one of my favorite cities, in many ways, more than Tokyo. The people are less uptight, they actually smile occasionally and eye contact outside of the service industry is not a foreign concept.
The city itself is both modern but retains many parts of old Japan. It reminds how things were like when I lived here from 2005-2007.
